Friday 2.21 GCJM Shabbat Prep and meal @ Elsewhere….

*10am-12pm BAKING WORKSHOP!!!

7 year old resident baker for the morning, Hadar Kedem, will guide us through the preparation of a delicious Shabbat dessert to be brought home or shared that night at the community Shabbat meal (see above for Shabbat meal registration). Hadar has been baking bottom scraping desserts for nearly a year. Her delectables bring sighs and moans around the Shabbat table and other locales. Join Hadar and her Aba (Dad) for a dessert workshop you’ll never forget! Dessert Baking (and Shabbat Dinner that night) will take place @ Elsewhere (606 S. Elm St)

Register: greensborocjm@gmail.com

6-9pm SHABBAT MEAL AND CELEBRATION

Collaborative Shabbat Potluck meal. Join us for a relaxed and lively Shabbat meal with singing, stories and more. Families are encouraged to join. Participation is limited. Visit go.uncg.edu/gcjmshabbatdinner for more information and registration.

Please note that as part of the curatorial and Shabbat practice we will dwell fully in a traditional Shabbat environment, taking a break from the business of our weeks and embracing the being part of our humanity. In order to achieve this, we ask that you please refrain from photographing our time together and request that you refrain from the use of phones and other electronic devices.
